Sales Executive - Montevideo Office – Air, Sea, and Land Transportation

At Lamaignere, we are seeking a Sales Executive specialized in Traffic for Air, Sea, and Land Transportation to join our branch in Montevideo, Uruguay, with immediate incorporation.

The candidate will serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the entire shipping process, from the initial contact to the delivery of the goods, ensuring the best logistical solution through relationships with all supply chain stakeholders.

Main Responsabilities: 

  • Coordinate export documentation for international air and sea shipments from origin to destination.
  • Assist and coordinate with the import department for Air and Sea shipments.
  • Ensure compliance with export regulatory requirements.
  • Meet all key milestones as stipulated.
  • Maintain accurate costs and profits by overseeing and completing proper billing to customers based on agreed prices.
  • Agree on costs with service providers with management approval.
  • Obtain and create quotes for shipments and seek the best transportation method for the client and Lamaignere’s global network offices.

Requierements:

  • Over 3 years of experience in the transportation and logistics sector.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of local and international carriers and routes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Outgoing personality.
  • Ability to navigate and work efficiently using technological software
