Lamaignere, after more than four years of progress, fulfills its Green Plan 2024 by having implemented 100% of its initiatives. Now, aiming to consolidate its environmental practices and maintain a continuous trajectory of its achievements to date, it launches the Green Plan 2030.

This roadmap reflects a firm commitment to making sustainability a fundamental aspect of our daily activities as a freight forwarder and logistics operator.

Lamaignere’s ongoing environmental commitment and sustainable project are encapsulated under the motto: "Because we use it: we clean, maintain, and preserve." We aspire to contribute to societal change with the firm desire that all our daily activities support the preservation of our planet.

We also wish for our stakeholders (Clients, Suppliers, Employees, and Shareholders) to join this commitment. To that end, we have implemented the following 10 measures within Lamaignere’s culture, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (7, 12, 13, 14, and 15).

Lessening the need for printing. By digitizing our documents we are able to reduce the amount of paper used.

Acquiring electric or hydrogen-operated trucks to reflect our commitment to move merchandise in an eco-friendly manner. All merchandise will be transported using these 100% Lamaignere owned vehicles.

Maintaining a healthy environment by planting trees.

Adopting a policy of using recycled paper for printing documents when inevitable.

Illuminating our offices through the use of LED LIGHTS only..

Gathering electrically-operated machines for use in our warehouses.

No to using material that does not contain recycled plastics!

Extending the life of our computers by recycling them.

Reducing garbage in our forests by participating in forest cleaning campaigns.

Eliminating plastic waste from our rivers and ports: Lamaignere allocates part of the profit generated from its maritime shipping business to cleaning the seas by removing tons of plastic in collaboration with a company dedicated to this task.
