We want to inform our clients in Chile about the COVID19 situation in the Santiago Metropolitan Region.
According to the last daily report of yesterday, a record number of infections was registered in the country (2,152, in the last 24 hours). As of this, there are already 34,381 people infected with Covid-19 in the national territory, 19,170 of whom are in an active state. Finally, the report counts 346 deaths in total, as a result of the pandemic in Chile.
From this figure and that in the coming weeks the most critical health situation is expected, the Minister of Health, Jaime Mañalich announced that starting today, Friday, May 15th, starting at 10:00 pm, we will enter a total quarantine is in force that it will affect the entire province of Santiago and six neighboring communes: San Bernardo, Buin, Puente Alto, Padre Hurtado, Lampa and Colina.
