Prodiel presented last Wednesday, March 20, at the facilities of Lamaignere (ZAL of Seville), a solidary project which will have several associated companies in order to offer illumination at the University of Mahagi in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
At the moment, the Lago Alberto University lacks electric lighting, which makes it impossible to use the facilities once the sun has set.
In the Democratic Republic of the Congo is the third poorest country in the world. It has a population of approximately 75 million people and a literacy rate of 75%.The university has a capacity of 1000 people.
Prodiel (in collaboration with the Rotary Foundation) has developed a solidarity project for the construction of a 22kw and the electrical installation of this university.
Our company has coordinated shipments and storage of materials, with the philosophy RSC. For us, it is amazing to participate in this project. We should say that Ocean Freight Department and Distribution Department participated in the transport.
According to Empresa Exterior, in addition to Lamaignere, there is an important number of companies such as: Jinko Solar, Fundación Typsa, SMA, Gonvarri, Tranluz, AS Solar, Díaz Cadena, ATF, Tranluz and Fundación Real Betis Balompié
Some materials which have been transported:
• 69 photovoltaic panels
• 800 meters of solar wiring ZZ-F 1x4 mm2 perimeter fencing
• 30 luminaire switches
• 70 power outlets
• Etc.
In our company we are worried about the precarious situations that can be suffered in other zones. We are always willing to collaborate in a solidary project with our logistics and transport.
