Lamaignere collaborates in the cleaning of the Spanish coasts by collecting more than 9 tons of waste.

Through a collaboration agreement established since early 2023 between Lamaignere and the Ecomar Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation and preservation of our precious oceans, Lamaignere, along with other significant Spanish companies, has contributed to the cleaning of the Spanish coasts by collecting 9.7 tons of waste.

Out of the total 9.7 tons of waste collected, Ecomar has provided a breakdown through their recently published official figures:.

  • Paper and cardboard: 165 kg.
  • Packaging: 1,560 kg.
  • Glass: 727 kg.
  • Debris: 2,401 kg.
  • Residues: 4,862 kg.
  • Cigarette butts: 82,700

For Lamaignere, this initiative represents a significant achievement within the Green Plan 2024, specifically focusing on the cleaning of seas and oceans. Such actions aim to raise awareness, educate, and, of course, mitigate the impact of human activities on the environment

Very positive figures have been achieved thanks to the high level of participation from environmentally committed companies, as well as the outstanding work carried out by the volunteers of the Ecomar Foundation in the 70 activities conducted throughout the past year 2023. Below, we share some photographs from the collection activities:
