Lamaignere Chile joins a pioneering electric mobility project for public transportation in Copiapó

Lamaignere Cargo Chile is proud to have played a key role in a groundbreaking project that sets a new benchmark for urban mobility in Latin America. In collaboration with CLEP, part of the Cointer Group, our team was entrusted with the logistical management of 121 new electric buses that will fully renew the public transportation system of Copiapó.

This initiative will make Copiapó the first city in Latin America to operate a 100% electric public transport system, positioning Chile at the forefront of sustainable mobility in the region.

Our services included receiving and storing the electric buses at CLEP’s facilities, which enabled the successful execution of ground transportation operations to Santiago. There, the vehicles are undergoing final adjustments before being deployed to their final destination in the Atacama region.

This project highlights not only our operational capacity but also our commitment to being a reliable logistics partner in initiatives that drive progress toward a cleaner, more modern, and better-connected country.
