Mr Francisco Herrero León, president of Lamaignere, receives the Gold Medal from the Spanish Chamber of Commerce

The Spanish Chamber of Commerce has awarded its Gold Medal to Francisco Herrero León, president of the Lamaignere Business Group and the Seville Chamber of Commerce, for his outstanding contribution to business development and the chamber system.

A member of the Seville Chamber of Commerce since 1977 and its president since 2006, he has promoted the institution's national and international profile. Highlights include his presidency of the Ibero-American Association of Chambers of Commerce (AICO) and his role in the creation of business organisations such as the Seville Business Confederation and the Association of Freight Forwarders (ATEIA).

With this distinction, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce recognises a career marked by commitment to business and internationalisation.
